Maintaining efficiency of solid and hazardous waste stream for McMurdo Station, a science research base operated under the National Science Foundation and the United States Antarctic Program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: On call Spill Response in accordance with the Antarctic Treaty; Responsible for retrieval, sorting and processing of solid waste for a population of 1,200; Operation of articulating front end loaders and snow removal equipment; Sustained manual, physical and operating labor in extreme weather conditions; Maintenance of positive team based work environment.

Maintaining the general order, environment, and operation of two sister locations of a six store business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Staff management and scheduling of 10+ employees; Training of staff in both professional skills and coffee education; Daily floor shifts as lead barista; Daily inventory and ordering from a variety of vendors; Customer relations and management of staff’s customer service performance as well as customer concerns or feedback; Quarterly employee performance reviews; Cash management and nightly bank deposits; Daily maintenance of positive work relationships and ensuring a great environment for both staff and patrons.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prep and cooking of high end plated and family style meals for parties ranging from 6-250; Management of additional prep and wait staff; Monitoring staff prep of plated dishes, bartending and drink prep, passed appetizers and styled stationary food stations; Door to door delivery of food and kitchen equipment; Maintenance of a positive, fun, stylish environment for both staff and clientele.

Responsibilities included but were not limited to: Effective training of all bakery staff; Ensuring timely execution of pastry & snack production and delivery to over 30 NYC and 2 Philadelphia cafés, grocers, hotels, and museums; Timely execution of special orders including packaged items and weekly cake decorating; Maintenance and upkeep of all recipes including development and recipe writing of new menu items; Inventory and ordering of all ingredients; Interviews and recommendations for potential hires and fires; Direct communication between kitchen staff and owners; Maintenance of positive work environment.
